Over its 15-year history, the Baltimore Next Generation Investing Event raised and distributed over $2.3 million to four Baltimore-area organizations dedicated to providing educational opportunities for the city's underserved children.

Children's Scholarship Fund Baltimore

A privately funded organization providing partial tuition scholarships to low-income families in Baltimore City since 1998, helping them afford the private school of their choice. CSFB's model is one of the most direct and effective ways to expand educational access — 98% of their scholars graduate from high school.

KIPP Baltimore

Founded in 2002, KIPP Baltimore operates two tuition-free, open-enrollment public charter schools serving approximately 1,500 students from prekindergarten through eighth grade in West Baltimore. Their KIPP Forward program continues to support more than 1,700 alumni as they progress through high school, college, and into careers.

Next One Up

A long-term mentoring nonprofit founded in 2009, transforming the lives of young men in Baltimore City by supporting their academic, athletic, and social development. Next One Up works with participants from early adolescence through adulthood, serving over 100 young men from more than 45 different middle and high schools across Baltimore.

Southwest Baltimore Charter School

A public charter school founded in 2005 by a group of neighborhood parents and teachers in Baltimore's southwestern district. Using the Expeditionary Learning model, SBCS serves over 400 K‑8 students with a mission to create extraordinary learning experiences that inspire the thoughtful, courageous, compassionate citizen in every child.
